EDIBLE PENCILS
Edible Pencils won a First Prize at the IDSA design competition for A New Writing Instrument. We proposed to bake these pencils out of dough,with an edible charcoal stick for a “lead”. This ironic design commentary on pencil-nibbling earned praise from the jury, and enjoyed a non-stop attention from the press.
