L.I.M. SHELF FOR PURE DESIGN
The title of this simple steel shelf ironically alludes to Mies’ oft-quoted quip “Less Is More”.
In essence, the shelf is a small modular stage set for one’s favorite small collectibles. Our object is quite minimal, yet it becomes complete only when “loaded” with various bric-a-brac, in clear polemics with Mies’ purist aesthetics. It is possible to add other shelves, to extend the display in either vertical or horizontal way.
