ON THE STREETS: EXHIBITION FOR NEW YORK TRANSIT MUSEUM
This permanent exhibition focused on history of New York City’s ground transportation: buses and trams. We designated central part of the large underground space as a “crosswalk”: the children’s educational playground, where they could “drive” buses of different eras, and play with various street furniture.
The surrounding galleries presented historical materials in a systematic time-line fashion; this display also proved to be surprisingly popular with kids.
