WINDOW INSTALLATION
FOR HERMES, TOKYO
For the windows of Hermes, we proposed a collection of big puzzle blocks both as a colorful background and as support for clothes and merchandise.
The image of a Centaur – an ultimate merge of equestrian elegance with human beauty – evokes a recurrent theme of the house of Hermes. The installation could be renewed every few weeks: a simple shift of the blocks would create a new fantasy creature.
All one had to do is to get inside the vitrine, and play.
