CRYSTAL RUGS FOR SWAROVSKI
The brief for the project called for “reinventing the chandelier”, to provide a showcase for the company’s famed cut crystal. We proposed to assemble crystal sheets of varied shapes and textures, using hundreds of standard crystal components. The sheets hung over one continuous electrified channel, like glittering crystal rugs.
While the monumental exhibition prototype was almost 5m long, we also envisioned a family of smaller chandeliers for residential use.
