ALPINE BENCH, ITALY
This bench is a winning entry for an international competition Otto Panche for outdoor benches in the tourist region of Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Dolomites, Italy.
The Bench is made of 42 identical teak wood frames, which are connected with curved metal bars. Gently curved shape of the bench organically fits its natural settings, allowing light and air to penetrate the form. The seat accommodates two to three people, encouraging easy interaction and conversation.
